This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Transaction Monitoring Analyst based in Italy.
The Transaction Monitoring Analyst will help protect the integrity of a global digital asset platform by identifying and mitigating financial crime risks.
You will investigate transaction monitoring alerts across both fiat and cryptocurrency activity using a risk-based approach.
The role combines financial crime analysis, blockchain investigation, transaction monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
You will assess unusual account and transaction behavior, identify potential ML, TF, sanctions, and fraud risks, and escalate high-risk cases appropriately.
Working closely with AML, Compliance, Product, and other teams, you will contribute to reporting and improvements to monitoring controls.
You will also deepen your expertise in blockchain transactions, virtual currencies, KYC/AML/CTF requirements, and evolving regulatory expectations.
This is a fully remote role within a fast-paced global fintech environment, with preferred working hours aligned to LATAM or APAC time zones.
