Mastercard has a vision to build a leadership position as the only truly multi-rail payments technology company and Europe is at the forefront in defining and executing our multi-rail strategy. Commercial payments are a large opportunity for Mastercard. This role will develop and grow our commercial products and solutions for large market B2B and Travel & Entertainment, supplier payments and embedded finance technology partnerships.
The Mastercard Account Management team is dedicated to building strong relationships with Banks and Financial Institutions and driving the adoption of Mastercard Products and Services. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented manager to support our sales team operations and contribute to our growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing the relationship at the assigned accounts and strengthen customer engagement at all levels
• Lead and build business development strategy for each assigned account with full responsibility of the profitability and in alignment with country targets
• Full ownership of the P&L of the assigned accounts
• Full ownership of the end-to-end relationship with the assigned accounts
• Responsible for setting sales strategies as it relates to customer accounts that are aligned with WE strategy and achieving sales goals that drive market share, volume and revenue growth
• Leads and manages existing customer relationships, and works to identify opportunities and customer needs
• Partners with customers to deliver customized solutions and comprehensive consulting support
• Responsible for pipeline management at the account level
• Contributes to the achievement of sales and net revenue targets
• Assists with analysis of customer’s business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting, and competitive analysis
• Assists in designing strategies, messaging, and proposals for customers
• Supports the management key customer relationships at manager levels
• Collaborates with the account team and customers to plan, execute and monitor progress against annual business plans
• Assists in local projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Responsible on the Voice of Customer results
• Engage with Mastercard cross functional team to design and execute tactical plans to execute the customer strategy and bring relevant business best practices
• Leverage all Mastercard brand, sponsorship properties, products, and technological payment solution to identify new product opportunities and develop bespoke propositions to maximize segment penetration and exceptional customer value
• Grow Mastercard share within the assigned accounts
• Responsible for all administrative and operational issues relate to the assigned accounts
• Uncover business opportunities and work with MasterCard cross functional team to assess new concepts and ideas of new products that support the market strategy
• Work closely with the Head of Financial Institutions to recommend and develop market strategy, business planning, expense management, budget, financial monitoring …etc.
About You:
• Excellent analytical skills (e.g., cards P&L analysis, financial forecasting, competitive analysis)
• Superior presentation skills, written and oral (Spanish mother language and English)
• Strong capability to create power point presentations
• Proven ability to develop business relationships at all levels
• Results-oriented and customer-focused
• Strong Sales / Business Development / Relationship Management background.
• Ability to understand and execute on key operational aspects, and attentive to details
• Excellent problem solving, analytic capabilities and business acumen
• Selling Skills with ability to initiate, pursue and close a sale, as well as strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent ( MBA Preferred)
• Proven track record of project management capabilities
• Team-player with hands-on attitude, strong collaborations skills
• Capability to interact with top-management and support functions
• Humble, flexible, and empathic
• Banking sector market knowledge.
• Payment Systems market knowledge (experience in issuing and acquiring)
• Fluent in English
