Typical Accountabilities - Serve as a regional subject matter expert for assigned products or complex therapeutic areas, providing expert-level medical information to internal colleagues and external stakeholders. - Manage and enhance processes for updating, accessing, and delivering accurate medical information, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with industry best practices. - Define, coordinate, and deliver training programs for team members on updated medical information, products, and relevant therapy areas, while acting as the primary knowledge resource. - Contribute to the management of the Medical Information team by ensuring team members have access to necessary resources, systems, and clear operational guidance. - Develop and implement policies, procedures, and team objectives to uphold high standards of service delivery and maintain operational excellence. - Oversee the maintenance and quality assurance of medical information databases to ensure compliance with internal policies and external legal regulations. - Prepare and deliver detailed reports, presentations, and summaries on product-related clinical trials, safety data, and new developments for internal and, when necessary, external audiences. - Stay updated on advancements in clinical practices, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to medical information and assigned therapy areas to ensure the delivery of relevant and current knowledge. Qualifications and Skills Essential: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a life sciences, pharmacy, or healthcare-related field; Extensive knowledge and/or experience in the pharmaceutical industry and medical products; Proven ability to manage and deliver medical information in a timely and compliant manner; Experience leading and developing a team within a contact center or customer-service environment; Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Desirable: Experience in delivering presentations and training across multiple aspects of medical information; Project management experience or certification. External: Healthcare professionals (including pharmacists, physicians, nurses); Regulatory authorities; External service providers; Patients (where appropriate).
