This position reports to:
Business Process Owner - Operations Transformation & AI__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity develop and enhance complete and sizable software modules in the assigned software engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you will execute assigned design and development activities focused on building solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner and in accordance with quality standards. You will also showcase your expertise by providing curate project schedule estimates and ensuring their successful completion within the deadline.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Service (ELSE) Division Globally. Main stakeholders are Global Operations and IS team.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Building and enhancing AI-enabled applications and agent workflows, including reusable MCP integrations, APIs, tools, and application features that connect AI services, enterprise systems, and knowledge sources.
- Developing and improving AI knowledge and retrieval capabilities, including knowledge ingestion, RAG, embeddings, vector search, retrieval relevance, and response quality.
- Configuring and operating cloud application services, primarily on Azure, including application deployment, testing, release, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, secure access, identity integration, and credential management.
- Owning application delivery and continuous improvement, working closely with business teams to translate requirements into practical solutions, document application designs and troubleshooting guidance, and coordinating with IS teams and vendors on enterprise dependencies.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Relevant experience in software, cloud application, or AI engineering, with strong application troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, embeddings, and vector search, including improving retrieval and response quality.
- Practical cloud development experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure, including services such as App Service, Functions, Storage, Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI.
- Experience with APIs, MCP, and enterprise application integrations, including secure connectivity, Entra ID, managed identities, and Key Vault.
- Experience with AI-assisted development, version control, application testing, and release practices, with the ability to validate and troubleshoot generated solutions.
- Ability to quickly understand new concepts and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, with a proactive communication style and strong ownership of application delivery and support.
