About this role
AI Product Solutions Lead, Technology Product – Aladdin Data
Your team
Aladdin Data brings together product, data, technology, and domain expertise to develop data capabilities that support users and business workflows. This role sits within Technology Product and works across engineering, data science, architecture, design, and business teams to turn complex business and user needs into scalable product solutions.
Your role and impact
As an AI Product Solutions Lead, you will lead the integration and channel experiences workstream for a single AI-powered platform, developing and evolving the product from concept through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization. You will define the product vision and strategy for this workstream, translate complex business and user needs into technical product requirements, prioritize the roadmap, and partner closely with engineering, data science, architecture, design, business teams, and client businesses as key stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions.
You will operate at the intersection of client business problems, product experiences, data, and AI technology. With a primary focus on integration and channel experiences, you will lead the workstream that connects the AI product to the applications, workflows, and touchpoints through which users engage with the platform. In addition to traditional product management responsibilities, you will bring a product solutions architecture perspective, developing a strong understanding of the underlying data, models, application programming interfaces (APIs), AI agents, retrieval and grounding approaches, integrations, channels, and platform architecture. This technical depth will allow you to shape solution design, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and make informed product decisions while partnering with engineering and architecture teams.
You will also define measures of success, evaluate AI quality and user experience, monitor product performance, incorporate user feedback, and drive continuous improvement as models, data, technology, and user needs evolve.
Your responsibilities
In every role at BlackRock, you'll be expected to apply sound judgement and critical thinking to solve complex problems, adapt as the business evolves, and combine the curiosity to explore new approaches and technologies with the rigor to challenge the results. The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:
- Define AI product vision and strategy and own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from problem discovery and requirements through development, launch, adoption, measurement, and continuous optimization.
- Translate business and user needs into technical product requirements and own the roadmap and backlog, balancing user value, business impact, technical feasibility, data readiness, model performance, risk, and engineering effort.
- Serve as a product solutions partner across engineering, data science, architecture, design, and business teams, shaping scalable solutions across data requirements, integrations, APIs, grounding approaches, orchestration, and platform capabilities.
- Shape AI-powered and agentic experiences, including conversational interfaces, intelligent recommendations, automated workflows, decision support, and human-in-the-loop experiences, and drive experimentation across models, context, grounding, workflows, and user experiences.
- Define AI evaluation frameworks and product key performance indicators, using telemetry, experimentation, user feedback, and production performance to improve quality, relevance, reliability, scalability, adoption, productivity, and business outcomes.
- Define product requirements for responsible AI, including transparency, explainability, access controls, data privacy, evaluation, monitoring, security, governance, and appropriate human oversight.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and translate relevant advances into practical product opportunities, grounding technology decisions in real user needs, product strategy, architectural considerations, and measurable business value.
Your experience
- Experience leading technical product management, including product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, technical requirements definition, and ownership of products from concept through production launch and adoption.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning product development, including generative AI, large language models, AI agents and agentic workflows, prompting, context management, and model capabilities.
- Working knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), grounding, knowledge retrieval, semantic data models, and structured and unstructured data approaches.
- Experience partnering on product solution and platform architecture, including APIs, system integrations, data pipelines, and technical trade-offs, with the ability to shape technical solutions without being the primary engineer implementing them.
- Experience defining product and AI quality measures and using evaluation, telemetry, experimentation, quantitative insights, and qualitative user feedback to improve product experiences and outcomes.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles and considerations related to security, privacy, governance, evaluation, monitoring, and controls for production AI products.
- Ability to translate complex business workflows and user needs into scalable product and technical solutions and communicate effectively across engineering, data science, architecture, design, business teams, and senior stakeholders.

Skills and AI tools this role asks for
Questions you could be asked
- How would you design a retrieval step so the model answers from real data instead of guessing?
- How do you decide when an AI agent can act on its own versus asking for approval first?
- How do you decide that one model's output is better than another's for a given task?
- How do you think about the risk of an AI system in this kind of role failing silently?
- Describe a typical day in a role like this one: which parts run through AI directly?
Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: RAG, AI agents, AI Evaluation, and AI Safety. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Show where AI is part of your daily process, not a one-off project. This role expects it to be a running habit.
