About this Role

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the In Room Dining department.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage orders to guest rooms.
• Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with luxury hospitality requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of service areas, equipment, and trolleys.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure proper setup, delivery, and clearance of room service orders.
• Supervise, motivate, and support IRD colleagues during shifts.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational information effectively.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Ensure colleagues maintain grooming and appearance standards.
• Develop team members through coaching and ongoing feedback.
• Build strong relationships with guests and anticipate their needs.
• Ensure personalized and memorable dining experiences.
• Follow up on guest feedback and implement corrective actions where required.
• Promote resort dining experiences and maximize upselling opportunities
• Monitor departmental revenue and labor costs.
• Assist in achieving departmental budgets and productivity targets.
• Ensure accurate billing and posting of guest checks.
• Minimize wastage and control operating expenses.
• Support monthly inventory and stock control processes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Follow company health and safety procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
• Participate in audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
