GrabMart, an online delivery service, is looking for a dynamic Merchant Acquisition and Sales Operations Associate (2-year contract position) to join our team in Bangkok. You will drive Mid to Long tail GrabMart's merchant acquisition while optimizing merchant operations to ensure scalable growth.

Join the GrabMart team in Bangkok as a Merchant Acquisition and Sales Operations Associate on a 2-year contract. In this role, you will lead mid-to-long-tail merchant expansion across grocery and quick-commerce verticals. You will oversee end-to-end partnership negotiations, identify strategic supply gaps, and improve operational onboarding workflows to grow our merchant network.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Strategic Acquisition Strategy and Execution

• Identify strategic merchant gaps and categories needed to enhance GrabMart's supply coverage and quality to align with vertical growth targets.
• Manage the end-to-end retail acquisition, from identifying prospects to successful contract signage.

Sales & Partnership Negotiation:

• Deliver clear, presentations that persuade merchants to partner with GrabMart.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, with a focus on long-term partnership growth and sustainable profitability for both parties.
• Develop customized partnership proposals that address the needs and goals of each merchant.

Acquisition Optimization & Operations:

• Improve and standardize the onboarding structure and processes to provide a high-quality, efficient, and scalable activation pipeline across diverse merchant categories.
• Collaborate with company partners to ensure new merchants are activated and transition smoothly from acquisition to daily management.
• Implement and maintain a tracking system for merchant acquisition metrics.

Collaboration :

• Work with related partners to align acquisition efforts with overall business goals.
• Contribute to the development of strategic projects to enhance overall merchant experience on the GrabMart platform.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition
• Preferably strong understanding of Quick commerce or E-commerce landscape, O2O (offline-to online) or grocery, fresh market industry
• Communication: both Thai and English
• Experience to work as part of a team and dynamic culture.
• Analytical :
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions) to generate insights, track performance
• Experience in e-commerce or food delivery industry
• Knowledge of digital marketplaces and online grocery delivery services
