Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

The work model for the role is: On site Monday to Friday 6.30 am to 3.30 pm

You will be mainly accountable for:

Assembly, Maintenance & Testing

• • Assemble, inspect, repair, and retrofit circuit breakers and switchgear from leading OEMs.
  • Perform soldering, welding, wiring, and mechanical/electrical sub-assembly work.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment using specialized tools.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and retrofit projects.
  • Complete service reports and test documentation accurately.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve reliability.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures, including LOTO requirements.

Qualifications for the role

• You have 2 to 5+ years of experience in circuit breaker and switchgear assembly, maintenance, testing, repair, or manufacturing environments.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Technical training or certification in electrical assembly, electrical technology, electromechanics, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and service manuals.
• Experience with circuit breaker testing and diagnostic equipment is considered a strong asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
