As a business analyst at ASML it is your role to collect, analyze and translate our data into business insights. You will support the generation of business insights by using a combination of cross-sector data sources and applying leading analytics tools and technologies on these sources in order to enable optimization of ASML and customer value.
Role and responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will work on a diverse portfolio of projects that contribute to ASML’s business priorities across multiple domains and functions. You will:
• Generate business insights by translating data into meaningful visuals, reports and dashboards and recommendations.
• Support the formulation of problem statements and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Apply leading analytics tools and technologies to develop in-depth understanding of structured and unstructured data on the topic at hand.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical (cross-sector) stakeholders across sectors to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Present analytical approaches, results, and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to drive informed decision-making.
• Contribute to improving business performance through data-driven insights that create measurable value for ASML and its customers.
Education and experience
We are looking for high-potential Business Analysts who are eager to learn, challenge themselves, and grow within a dynamic environment. Drive, curiosity, and learning agility are at least as important as prior experience.
• A technical master's degree (or you will graduate in the upcoming months), preferably within a strong technical direction like Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Mechanical or Electrical/Industrial Engineering or Econometrics.
• Experience with data analysis methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Ability to apply modern analytical and statistical approaches to complex business problems.
• Experience with tools such as Python, Databricks, Power BI, Spotfire and/or Alteryx.
• Business sensitivity and ability to make the step from theoretical models to creating business impact

Distributed Analytics Network
This job position is part of the Distributed Analytics Network (DAN), a network consisting of analytics entities (called Analytics Nodes) throughout the different sectors at ASML. The main objective of DAN is to create an aligned way of working across the organization and elevate ASML's analytics capabilities to the next level. Being part of DAN provides exposure to multiple teams, business domains, and stakeholders across ASML, creating unique opportunities for learning, development, and career growth.
