This position reports to:

Business Communications Manager

Your role and responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:

Market Research Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with internal business colleagues to define research objectives, scope, and timelines; develop market research plans and project schedules
Macroeconomic Analysis: Monitor global and China macroeconomic data, analyze economic trends impact on the automation industry, and provide economic background analysis for business decisions.
Automation Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on automation market development trends, market size, growth opportunities, and market drivers.
Industry & Enterprise Research & Analysis: Perform comprehensive industry research to understand current state, development trends, and competitive landscape of the industry and enterprises.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct advanced data analysis, develop market research reports, extract key insights, and present research findings to senior management.
Marketing Analysis Tools Maintenance: Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to maintain market analysis tools and information repositories, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
Team Management & Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead and manage the research team, collaborate with relevant departments to provide market support, and ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.

Qualifications for the role

Master's degree or above in Marketing, Economics, Management, or Automation-related discipline
8+ years of experience in market research, business intelligence, or product market research
Prior experience working in international consulting firms or market research departments of global enterprises; experience in independently leading research projects and team management is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
Strong initiative, sense of responsibility, and execution capability; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Familiarity with industrial automation, drive products, or related industrial product industries
