Business Transformation Specialist - Data & Analytics

In this role, you will support Data & Analytics initiatives within Private Bank Switzerland, acting as both Business Analyst and Project Manager across reporting, data quality, regulatory and remediation topics.

Responsibilities

• Drive Data & Analytics projects across three locations as Business Analyst and Project Manager, liaising with requestors, business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.

• Understand data requirements from a content perspective, drive data discovery and analytics, and work with IT colleagues to create reports and interfaces.

• Perform analysis in Avaloq to understand business processes, related data and requirements; ideally also interrogate data using SQL across areas such as banking and investment products, transactions and performance.

• Prepare functional specifications, including data selection criteria, for developers and perform testing of the results.

• Create audit-ready documentation in collaboration with the IT delivery team.

• Design appropriate data quality controls and ensure their implementation.

• Analyze reported issues in databases and source systems, including erroneous or missing data, to identify functional problems and data gaps.

• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Skills

• Experience in project management across business and technical environments.

• Good knowledge of private banking products, services and processes, ideally within Wealth Management.

• Proven expertise in core banking platforms, preferably Avaloq, from a business or functional perspective.

• Intermediate knowledge of database querying with SQL.

• Solid understanding of data analysis and technical concepts related to data warehousing.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
