Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope (global/regional) in an effective manner to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations in the assigned channel. Each day, you will execute channel sales strategies and initiatives within the assigned market, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel, in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the sales customer base growth for the assigned channel.


The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Mining & Materials (M&M) Business line within the Process Industries division of Automation Business Area in Egypt, North and Central Africa. Main stakeholders are ENCA country sales teams, channel partners/system integrators, key customers, and ABB global functions (sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and compliance).

You will be mainly accountable for:


  • Implementing the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget.
  • Creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies.
  • Reporting the progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets.
  • Conducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving any identified problems if they were to arise.



What It Takes to Run What Runs The World



  • You are immersed in partner management, and industrial automation & digital solutions within ENCA and broader industrial automation market
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in commercial, sales, and channel management with at least 5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and digital applications in industrial environments
  • You are passionate about commercial excellence, stakeholder influencing, negotiation, and building strong long-term partner ecosystems
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics), and proven track record in channel management for automation and digital software
  • You are at ease communicating in English and Arabic, with French considered a strong advantage
  • You have established skills in understanding market demand, customer budgeting processes, and purchasing behaviors in industrial segments
  • You are highly adept in commercial terms, legal frameworks, and risk mitigation in partner and customer agreements
  • You enjoy working with cross-functional collaboration, sales execution frameworks, and structured partner enablement methodologies within the industrial automation sector
