YOUR MISSION

Be the high-trust partner to Poland’s GM, owning the operating system that turns strategy into execution: cadences, reporting and decision-making rigor. Over the next 12–18 months, you’ll lead the cross-functional projects that don’t fit anywhere else, with a focus on tax, finance and compliance, while connecting Poland with the rest of Glovo.

THE JOURNEY

• Owns standards, continuous improvement and execution of operating system: cadences, reporting, decision logs, escalation paths.

• Owns end-to-end delivery of cross-functional special projects assigned by the GM, with full latitude on approach and stakeholder management

• Acts as GM's delegate on prep, follow-up, and execution oversight for the leadership team

• Authority is borrowed from the GM and only as durable as the trust earned; gets things done through influence, not formal authority

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

Must have

• 4–7 years of experience combining operational delivery with structured problem-solving (consulting-to-operator path, in-house Strategy, avid project manager or prior CoS strongly preferred)

• Demonstrated execution: has personally driven cross-functional projects to closure with measurable outcomes; not advisory-only

• Strong operational rigor: designs operating cadences, builds reporting layers, runs business reviews; does not shy from the spreadsheet or the operational detail

• Structured problem-solving: takes ambiguous problems, breaks them down, builds a plan, drives to outcome.

• Can deep dive by him/herself, isn’t only managing other people work, but makes its own opinion and POV

• Exceptional written and verbal synthesis: produces GM-ready one-pagers in hours, not days

• High-trust profile: discreet, low ego, comfortable holding sensitive information, no personal agenda beyond the role

• Influence without authority across seniority levels (junior analysts to country leadership to HQ)

• Bar-raising mentality: holds the line on standards, calls out drift, does not normalize mediocrity

• Strong analytical baseline: SQL or spreadsheet fluency, comfortable interrogating data directly

• Fluent in Polish and English

Nice to have

• Marketplace, on-demand, tech, or high-growth scaleup background.

• Exposure to multi-stakeholder, matrixed environments (HQ + country dynamics).

• Prior experience designing or running country/regional operating rhythms.

• Familiarity with Glovo's commercial, operational, or product context.
