Pay Transparency
The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is €59,500 - €97,750 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Pension, Life Insurance, Annual Leave, and Wellness Program.
Job Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.
Commercial Payments and Visa Direct are key growth areas for Visa and VCA, as banks and consumers adopt innovations like virtual credentials, open banking, and account‑based payments. Our team sits at the intersection of these businesses, providing strategic consulting to European clients while building new consulting capabilities through solution development, training, and thought leadership.
We are looking for a consultant to play a key role in developing the Commercial and Visa Direct business for the future. This role will primarily support in the development of new business opportunities across Commercial, Visa Direct, and new client verticals, and drive initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth for the Commercial & Visa Direct practice area across the Europe region.
Specific Responsibilities include:
· Support a team of experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to key Visa clients.
· Complete detailed analysis on client data and identify preliminary trends and themes in the data with some guidance.
· Conduct market research and data analysis to identify insights in the payment industry.
· Support the development of client-specific presentations by adapting templates for unique client scenarios and needs.
· Support senior consultants in developing and delivering high-quality advisory solutions to clients, such as business strategy, product development & pricing, customer segmentation and customer experience improvement.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
What we'd like from you:
· Payment industry, digital payments or payment processing experience preferred.
· Strategic and analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail that leverages multiple sources of information.
· Able to understand and start to disaggregate problem statement into distinct pieces of analysis.
· Use and adapt templates for unique client scenarios, optimizing structure to demonstrate + articulate key messages.
· Ability to execute quantitative & qualitative analysis with some guidance.
· Basic takeaways from the data + starting to craft storyline; ensure data quality + leverage data to support decision-making in project management.
· Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts.
· Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt.
· Proficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and presentation tools.
· An interest in learning advanced analytics tools (SAS, R, Tableau, etc.).
· An interest in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending a plus.
· An affinity for payments technology, FinTech and digital.
· Fluent written and spoken English required
· German would be an advantage
