Where You Fit In

As a Corporate Relations Adviser, Government Affairs you will be reporting to the Head of Corporate Relations, Singapore, you will play a key role in advancing Shell's relationship with the Singapore Government and broader policy ecosystem. You will provide strategic insights, build trusted partnerships and help navigate policy, regulatory and political developments that impact Shell's business and growth ambitions.

What You'll Do

• Lead government stakeholder engagement strategy, mapping and analysis to support Shell's business priorities and advocacy objectives in Singapore.
• Build trusted relationships with key ministries, agencies and industry stakeholders, strengthening Shell's reputation and licence to operate.
• Represent Shell in policy and regulatory discussions, influencing outcomes that create and protect business value.

• Coordinate senior executive engagements and provide strategic advice on government-facing initiatives and stakeholder interactions, while coaching and advising team members on effective engagement strategies with government stakeholders on matters impacting Shell's business.

• Monitor political, economic and regulatory developments, assessing implications and recommending appropriate responses.

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in government, public policy, government affairs, political risk, economic consultancy or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Singapore's political, regulatory and economic landscape.
• Established network and credibility with relevant government and industry stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, navigate complexity and build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with strong judgement, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing sensitive issues and reputational risks with discretion and integrity.
• Collaborative, proactive and resilient, with the ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Law or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
