DUTIES:

Reporting to the Transit Manager, the GDC Transit Officer’s main role is to create, allocate and monitor all BLD files and systematic transfers under the responsibility of the Transit Business Unit, in accordance with the current CC TCD procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Create BLD files and systematic transfers
• Allocate DPW, Agency, BLD and systematic transfer invoices
• Create work orders for BLD and systematic transfers
• Monitor systematic transfers
•  Prepare transfer requests
•  Follow up with DPW
•  Manage carrier documentation:
•  Prepare the documentation package,
• Upload to ORBUS
•  Attend weekly coordination meetings of the Transit Department
•

REQUIREMENTS & KNOWLEDGE:

• You hold a higher qualification in Transit, Customs Clearance or equivalent; you are comfortable working in French, both verbally and in writing, and have a working knowledge of English.

• Proficiency in IT, office software and GDC systems.

• Good interpersonal skills, with a flair for negotiation and communication

• A team player
