In this role, you will develop innovative software solutions that enhance tool functionality, ensure seamless hardware-software integration, and help bring Intel silicon products to market efficiently and effectively.

  • Provide technical support to customers, assisting with tool usage and identifying root causes for silicon power-on issues.
  • Work on hardware-software integration and debug for tools incorporating JTAG, I3C, SMBus, or silicon TAP topology.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers, fostering growth and innovation within the team.
  • Contribute to agile development processes, including scrum and kanban, to ensure efficient project execution.

The ideal candidate should show the following behavioral traits:

  • Advanced communication skills and willingness to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Questions you could be asked

  1. Tell me about a project where software engineering was part of your work. What did you do?
  2. Tell me about a project where silicon debug was part of your work. What did you do?
  3. Tell me about a project where hardware integration was part of your work. What did you do?
  4. Tell me about a project where agile was part of your work. What did you do?
  5. Walk me through how you've used Jtag in your day-to-day work.

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Software Engineering, Silicon Debug, Hardware Integration, Agile, and Jtag. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them — a tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
