The Director, Product Management, Tokenized Deposits will lead the strategy, development, and commercialization of Mastercard’s tokenized deposit capabilities. • Develop capabilities that enable tokenized deposits to operate across financial institutions, blockchain networks, applications, and other forms of digital money.

• Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear product specifications, architecture decisions, delivery priorities, and commercialization plans.

• Partner with engineering, architecture, design, legal, compliance, risk, regional teams, financial institutions, and technology providers to take capabilities from concept through pilot, launch, and scale.

• Engage customers and ecosystem partners to identify priority use cases, validate product requirements, structure pilots, and drive adoption.

• Define product operating models, governance, integration approaches, and implementation guidance that support secure and scalable participation by banks and ecosystem partners.

• Establish product success metrics and use customer feedback, pilot outcomes, and market insights to continuously refine the roadmap.

All About You

• Significant product management or product development experience in digital assets, payments, banking infrastructure, or other technically complex financial products.

• Experience owning products from initial concept and customer discovery through technical development, pilot execution, commercialization, and scale.

• Strong understanding of crypto and digital-asset infrastructure, including blockchain networks, smart contracts, wallets, custody, tokenization, and integration with traditional banking and payment systems.

• Engineering experience or a strong technical background, with the ability to work closely with engineers and architects on APIs, distributed ledgers, smart contracts, integration flows, security models, and platform architecture.

• Understanding of commercial bank money, payment execution, clearing and settlement, liquidity, and the operational and regulatory considerations associated with bank-issued digital money.

• Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear product strategies, requirements, executive recommendations, and partner-facing documentation.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery across engineering, architecture, legal, compliance, risk, security, regional, and commercialization teams.

• Strong customer and ecosystem orientation, with experience engaging financial institutions, digital-asset infrastructure providers, blockchain networks, wallet providers, and technology platforms.

• Comfortable operating in an emerging product area, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution and sound product judgment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with engineers, senior executives, customers, and external partners.
