Anti-Money Laundering (AML) is a critical part of our risk management organization ensuring we set the bar for regulatory compliance. Across AML, we are on an exciting mission to modernize our products through the novel intersection of data, AI, and customer centric experiences that will redefine the art of the possible. 

As a Director of Project Management at , you will create strategy and lead a team through high priority projects suupporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Risk Management efforts. In our Product Management organization. The platforms rely on four primary data domains within the Enterprise Risk Organization (ERO) and the data elements must be gathered across all participating organizations, translated, and standardized for common use.   You will collaborate with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You lead important and exciting projects from day one, working alongside key stakeholders across the company.

Responsibilities

• Leading moderate to large sized teams to drive complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction.
• Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.
• Ensuring projects are being delivered on time and on budget within a challenging environment while simultaneously managing risk.
• Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 7 years of project management or process management experience
• At least 3 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of people management experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
• Experience presenting to leadership and collaborating across different teams
• Experience solving organizational problems and influencing stakeholders

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
