Team mission

Partner Tech builds and operates the integration platform that enables GetYourGuide’s partners to distribute and sell our inventory at scale, reliably and efficiently. The team works on complex, high-impact systems that connect our supply with a diverse ecosystem of partners, helping expand GetYourGuide’s reach and unlock new opportunities for growth. We focus on building scalable, resilient solutions that make it easy for partners to integrate with GetYourGuide and deliver a seamless experience to travelers around the world.

Your mission

• Lead hiring and performance management for a team of 8 engineers (senior to junior across backend and frontend), setting a high bar for talent and enabling engineers to grow and perform at their best
• Partner closely with the Product Manager in a highly collaborative setup to shape and deliver the roadmap and strategy, driving business results across a large, complex domain end-to-end 
• Foster a culture that thrives in ambiguity, embraces experimentation, and continuously evolves based on learnings
• Drive technical excellence and own and raise the system health of the team
• Champion an experimentation mindset, leveraging data and partner insights to validate ideas and iterate quickly
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business to drive impactful initiatives

Your toolkit

• A seasoned engineering leader with strong ownership, aligning technical direction with team and stakeholder needs
• Comfortable navigating complex problem spaces and empowering your team to do the same
• Passionate about experimentation as a core tool for discovery and decision-making
• Bring a full-stack mindset and can engage meaningfully across backend and frontend systems
• Experienced in applying AI technologies within product development
• A people-first leader who coaches and supports engineers at all levels without micromanaging, and who can bring a growing, newly-formed team together around a shared way of working
• Deeply partner-focused, using product judgment to guide roadmap and priorities for different types of partners rather than individual consumers
• Thrive in an international, cross-functional environment with strong collaboration skills
