About the Role
This is a critical, strategic role for a hands-on technology leader who can bridge the gap between Skyflow’s data privacy vault and our customers’ complex enterprise ecosystems.
Our implementation teams are experts in the Skyflow product; you're an enterprise expert. You will be a trusted, customer-facing advisor to our most strategic customers, from engineering teams up to C-level and VP-level technology leaders. This is not a review-and-critique role. We’re looking for someone who defines architectures and solutions, joins customer calls, shares their screen, whiteboards in real time, and gets hands-on to help customers decide where and how Skyflow fits into their systems. You’ll guide conversations rather than wait to be prompted, and help customers move from a complex business problem to a concrete, working solution.
You will
Act as the primary technical advisor for Skyflow’s strategic enterprise customers, leading complex integration discussions with engineering teams and technology leaders (CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, VPs of Engineering).
Help customers determine where and how to integrate Skyflow into their systems, defining the architecture and solution design rather than reviewing someone else’s.
Run live working sessions on customer calls: screen sharing, whiteboarding, and hands-on keyboard work to design and validate integration approaches.
Plan and guide performance tests at scale, identifying pitfalls, trade-offs, and the pros and cons of different approaches.
Advise customers operating in complex data environments, including modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake, multi-cloud deployments, legacy modernization, and large-scale tokenization.
Partner with Skyflow Sales and Customer Experience teams to establish technical credibility and provide architectural guidance across the pre-sales and post-sales lifecycle.
Bring field insights back to Skyflow’s Product Management and Engineering teams to help shape the platform roadmap.
Contribute to reference architectures, integration patterns, and best-practice guides that help customers adopt Skyflow as a foundational part of their data strategy.
You have
Senior-level experience as an Enterprise Architect, Principal Solutions Architect, or in a similar hands-on architecture role, with a track record of impact on complex customer environments.
At least 5 years of client-facing experience.
A background that started in software development or engineering and progressed into architecture.
Experience in a regulated industry, ideally banking/financial services or healthcare, and/or a consulting background.
Deep, hands-on expertise designing scalable architectures, API frameworks, and microservices ecosystems at enterprise scale.
Strong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA). Experience with tokenization, encryption, and data vaulting is a significant plus.
Solid working knowledge of AWS, GCP, and/or Azure, including cloud-native security patterns and modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
Excellent listening, questioning, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
A proactive, hungry, ownership-driven mindset: you take control of a conversation, ask the right questions, and drive toward an answer without waiting for direction.
Benefits:
Home Office Expense
Health, Vision, Dental
Unlimited PTO
Flexible working hours

Skills and AI tools this role asks for
Questions you could be asked
- What's a project where you used Databricks hands-on?
- Describe a typical day in a role like this one: which parts run through AI directly?
- If you removed AI from this role, what would be left, and how do you decide what still needs a human?
Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: Databricks. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Show where AI is part of your daily process, not a one-off project. This role expects it to be a running habit.
