What's the role?We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with deep expertise in buy-side workflows, particularly in Order Management Systems (OMS), to join our growing team. This role is a cornerstone of the pre-sales process, working in close partnership with Enterprise Sales to design and present client-specific solutions across Bloomberg’s full product suite. You will serve as a strategic advisor and consultative partner, driving revenue growth and product adoption through sophisticated, multi-product enterprise engagements.
We will trust you to:

Lead dynamic discovery by engaging with prospects and existing clients to uncover holistic operational needs and document current-state technology stacks and workflows
Architect future-state solutions and target operating models by creatively synthesizing the full suite of Bloomberg products and data, solving complex problems with differentiated value
Influence stakeholders through deep industry insight, articulating solution fit and navigating technical trade-offs to drive outcomes across the full sales life-cycle
Operate within a consultative framework, identifying challenges and pitching tailored, value-driven propositions that align with the client’s strategic goals
Own ambiguity by proactively seeking clarity in complex environments, proposing innovative solutions, and engaging leadership directly to move deals forward
Orchestrate internal teams, including Technical Advisory, Implementation, and Product, to ensure timely, high-quality execution for multi-stakeholder opportunities
Contribute to the development of RFP/RFI responses to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and alignment with the proposed architecture
Act as a strategic feedback loop by relaying market insights and emerging industry trends back to Product Managers to influence the roadmap
Ensure a seamless transition from Sales to Implementation by facilitating structured handovers and comprehensive knowledge transfers

You’ll need to have:

Client-facing experience in Financial Services or a Financial Technology company
Experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or specialist relationship management within the technology sector
A broad understanding of Bloomberg’s comprehensive buy-side solution suite
Mastery of the buy-side workflow, spanning from initial research through to post-trade execution and integration
Expertise in requirements gathering and building sophisticated product demonstrations that address specific client "pain points"
Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, through clear communication and strategic perspective
Strong presentation and communication skills in English and Japanese
