This role is critical in ensuring efficient supply chain operations by coordinating with external customers and internal teams, resolving inventory discrepancies, managing material receipt issues, and ensuring timely shipping compliance. The specialist will serve as a key liaison to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration to meet operational requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Acts as a liaison external customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
- Supports the material and logistical needs for military programs across the supply chain.
- Manages material receipt issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Analyzes inventory data to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records to support operational readiness.
- Works with 3PL providers on inventory issues to ensure supply chain efficiency.
- Addresses and resolves grief requirements to support seamless program operations.
- Monitors supplier performance and relationships to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service performance.
- Identifies and mitigates risks and issues within the supply chain.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience in Supply Chain Operations
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
