The Editorial Graphic Designer will be responsible for bringing the visual identity and creative direction of One&Only The Palm to life across editorial, digital, social, campaigns, experiences and commercial communications.
The successful candidate will have a strong point of view and the ability to turn a brief into something beautiful, unexpected and culturally relevant.
You will work closely with Marketing & Communications, Sales, F&B, Spa, Events and external creative partners to create work that elevates the resort beyond traditional hospitality marketing.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop editorial-led creative concepts across campaigns, launches, seasonal moments and brand storytelling.
* Create sophisticated visual identities for new experiences, restaurants, partnerships and resort initiatives.
* Develop look and feel, mood boards, creative treatments and visual territories for campaigns and content.
* Design across digital, social, print, email, presentations, events and guest touchpoints.
* Create compelling layouts with an exceptional understanding of typography, composition, imagery and negative space.
* Bring an editorial approach to photography selection, image sequencing and visual storytelling.
* Work closely with photographers, videographers, stylists, agencies and other creative partners.
* Participate in and contribute to photoshoots and content productions, helping shape the visual direction from concept through to final execution.
* Create creative concepts and decks for luxury partnerships, F&B launches, events and commercial opportunities.
* Translate complex ideas into simple, visually powerful creative narratives.
* Develop social-first assets while maintaining a sophisticated luxury aesthetic.
* Create motion, animation and digital assets where appropriate.
* Ensure consistency across all creative output while continually evolving the visual expression of the resort.
* Stay ahead of fashion, luxury, travel, art, architecture, design and editorial trends, bringing fresh references and inspiration into the work.
* Build and maintain an organised library of creative assets, templates and brand resources.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing speed with an exceptionally high standard of execution.
The Creative Profile We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is highly visual, culturally curious and creatively brave.
You should:
* Have an exceptional eye for luxury, editorial design and visual storytelling.
* Think beyond simply “making things look nice” — you should be able to develop the idea behind the design.
* Understand the visual language of luxury brands across fashion, travel, hospitality, beauty, food and lifestyle.
* Have a strong understanding of typography, grid systems, composition, colour, imagery and art direction.
* Be able to create work that feels modern, understated, sophisticated and desirable.
* Have a strong sense of what is culturally relevant and visually current.
* Be confident presenting creative concepts and explaining the thinking behind them.
* Be comfortable challenging conventional hospitality marketing and bringing new ideas to the table.
* Have exceptional attention to detail and a genuine obsession with quality.
* Be equally comfortable working independently or collaborating with senior stakeholders and creative partners.
Experience & Qualifications
* 4–6+ years’ experience in graphic design, art direction or visual communication.
* Experience within luxury hospitality, fashion, editorial, travel, lifestyle, beauty or a leading creative agency is highly desirable.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Art Direction or a related discipline.
* Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite — InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma or motion design would be an advantage.
* Strong understanding of digital and social formats.
* Experience working on photoshoots and content productions is highly desirable.
* Exceptional portfolio demonstrating conceptual, editorial and luxury creative work is essential.
