[AWS China Introduction] Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Amazon Web Services has also established an AI lab in Shanghai and two IoT labs in Shenzhen and Taipei. The Amazon Web Services Partner Network has thousands of Partners in China. Key job responsibilities
• Deeply understand the market trends and technology evolution of the Financial Services Industry (banking, insurance, securities, payments), identify high-value AI/GenAI application scenarios (such as intelligent risk management, intelligent customer service, intelligent claims processing, compliance review, etc.), and drive the end-to-end design and development of industry AI solutions.
• Stay attuned to the digitalization and intelligent transformation trends in the Manufacturing industry, identify AI application opportunities in manufacturing scenarios (such as intelligent quality inspection, predictive maintenance, supply chain optimization, etc.), and drive the development and customer delivery of manufacturing AI solutions.
• Take strong ownership to drive solutions from POC validation through to production deployment, working closely with key customers in industry use case. Standardize and productize successfully validated AI solutions, proactively drive cross-customer replication and scale-out, establish industry best practices, and build AWS's AI solution technical leadership in the financial services and manufacturing industries.

A day in the life
An ISA works with AWS industry business development team, account team, go-to-market team, enterprise architect team, applied scientist team and prototyping team closely. An ISA would work out industry heatmap, industry solution playbook, first-of-a-kind industry solutions, key accounts architectural initiatives and would lead cross team AWS resources for execution. An ISA would also own the solution development and pilot case’s full life cycle. In addition, an ISA should have the ability to take on mentoring of new members on the team or other groups based their area of depth and expertise.

Basic qualifications

- 7+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred qualifications

- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
