YOUR ROLE

To strengthen our Inventory Control team, we are looking for an Inventory Controller for our modern warehouse in Zaandam. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy while taking our inventory control processes to the next level through analysis, reporting, and process optimization.

As an Inventory Controller, you play a key role in maintaining and improving inventory accuracy. While you will support operational inventory control activities when required, the main focus of this role is on data analysis, process improvement, and inventory optimization.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing inventory movements and warehouse utilization
• Performing ABC analyses and identifying inventory trends
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining inventory control standards
• Creating reports to support operational and management decisions
• Leading or supporting continuous improvement projects
• Collaborating with Operations, Inventory Control, and customers to optimize processes
• Supporting cycle counts, stock audits, and non-conformity investigations when necessary

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

Your workplace is at our location in Zaandam, where we have a brand-new warehouse! You will work closely with the Inventory Control Supervisor and Operations Management to ensure inventory reliability, identify trends, and drive improvements within a dynamic logistics environment. This position offers a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining operational knowledge with analytical thinking and wants to further develop within an international logistics organization. You do this within a driven and professional atmosphere, where there is plenty of room for fun and connection! You report to the Contract Supervisor, and your working hours vary between 08:00 and 17:00.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an analytical and proactive professional who enjoys working with data and translating insights into improvements.

You bring:

• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Experience in a logistics, warehouse, or inventory control environment
• Strong analytical skills and affinity with numerical data
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with databases, WMS systems, or similar tools
• A structured and accurate way of working
• Strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset
• The ambition to develop yourself and grow within CEVA Logistics
• Experience with inventory analysis, reporting, Power BI, Access, or Lean improvement methodologies is considered an advantage.

A Certificate of No Objection (VGB) is required for this role. CEVA Logistics will cover the application costs.

• A gross monthly salary between € 2.820 and € 3.621 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);
