DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Lead Analyst, TCI Currency Analytics, located in Loughbeg, Ireland; Diegem, Belgium & Zug/Zuchwil, Switzerland, in the Currency Management team that will sit within the broader DePuy Synthes Principal Operations DSPO team.

Role Overview
The Currency Management team will have the global responsibility to analyze and consolidate the impacts of currency fluctuations on the financials of all sourcing companies within DePuy Synthes, and to complete hedging activities to reduce the volatility linked to that.
This role involves a high degree of exposure, through business partnering with the global Financial Planning & Analytics teams, Global Treasury Services, and the DS Fintech group to shape the standardization in currency forecasting, reporting and related tools, as well as to Senior Management to provide insights in the consolidated result.
The successful candidate would have the opportunity to play a key role in standing up the DePuy Synthes process to support the ongoing analysis of FX impacts relating to the worldwide financial flows in Supply Chain finance, with regard to the tools, systems and data that will be available when operating as a standalone company.
Job Description:
Responsibilities and activities in scope of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Development of a standalone Transactional Currency Impact (TCI) File process for DePuy Synthes, leveraging the systems, tools, data and process for the DePuy Synthes operating model
- Ensuring coordination, timely preparation and consolidation of the Transactional Currency Impacts for budget updates and actuals for the whole of DePuy Synthes (Budget Cycles, Latest Thinkings rounds and Actuals)
- Lead trainings to educate partners about currency and hedging and maintain informative materials.
- Delivery and analysis of currency forecasting assessment and quantifying risks and opportunities related to currency fluctuations for DSPO, SC Finance, FP&A and Senior Management.
- Be the business owner of the automated calculation solution
- Implement standard processes and ensure full leverage of the tools/systems to drive efficiencies.
- Maintain positive relationship with business partners, collaborate and innovate to drive value and achieve business and financial targets.
- Support the development of a currency ledger solution within DPS Finance (DFIN) for DePuy Synthes
Qualifications
- University degree in Finance/Economics with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Alteryx is required; Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Must have strong finance, accounting, and business insight. MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other financial certifications are preferred.
- A solid grasp of hedging principles, hedge accounting and inventory accounting
- Supply Chain experience preferred.
- Candidate must possess excellent communication and business partnering skills as well as the ability to collaborate in a virtual environment
- Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills.
- A “can-do” mentality with a strong continuous improvement mind-set.
- Able to combine a helicopter view with deep dives when needed.
- The ability to work independently and manage complexity as well as the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously. Ability to bring clarity to sophisticated business issues.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€63,300.00 - €101,315.00
