The Team

Celonis Services is the delivery engine of our Celonis Customer Organization, responsible for turning the Celonis platform into measurable, business-critical outcomes for our customers. In the AI era, our role has elevated: as AI agents like our own Apollo take on more of the technical build, our people focus on the work that drives real impact—understanding our customers' business-critical problems, designing the solutions that solve them, and quantifying the value delivered. 

Our Deployment Engineers and Deployment Architects pair deep domain and industry expertise with serious platform mastery and AI-augmented delivery, directing agentic systems while owning the judgment, architecture, and customer relationships that AI cannot replace. We deliver faster and smarter than ever, and we own the outcome: solution go-live, solution adoption, initial value realization support and the long-term success of our customers.

The Role

As a Lead Project Manager, you will support end-to-end implementations of Celonis’ technology across our largest and most strategic customers. You will articulate Celonis’ product positioning to customers and collaborate with Sales, Partners and Value Engineering to deploy our platform, identify and frame business value opportunities, create tailored solutions, and enable sustainable value realization for our customers. 

From early pre-sales discussions through the full project lifecycle, you will ensure the quality and impact of our work — pushing for continuous innovation including through the adoption of our latest AI and Context Model capabilities. You’ll play a critical role in delivering outcomes that matter and ensuring every project contributes to customers satisfaction and long-term success.

The work you’ll do

• Supporting pre-sales by framing Services project opportunities with Sales and Value Engineering teams, defining the implementation approach and writing proposals.
• Executing projects end to end, taking responsibility for scope, timeline, resources and the quality of deliverables. 
• Managing the client relationship as the primary point of contact — from operational teams to senior executives — and securing a progressive handover. 
• Leading project governance: reporting on progress, risks and value opportunities, and facilitating decision-making by Celonis management and client sponsors. 
• Driving effective use of our AI tooling within the team to continuously improve how we deliver. 
• Providing guidance and mentoring to the Services team to ensure delivery consistency and consultants' development.
• Driving continuous improvement by feeding field learnings back into Celonis Services methods and best practices.

The qualifications you need

• Proven experience managing complex projects with both business and technical dimensions, in a consulting or professional services environment
• A passion for operational excellence: Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering tangible business value. 
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, onshore/offshore teams, and various clients stakeholder groups, from operational to executive levels
• Proven track record of strong leadership and communication, with the strategic thinking to support decision-making both internally and with the customer. 
• Demonstrated expertise in pre-sales collaboration, opportunity qualification and proposal development
• Experience in leading AI or machine learning projects is highly appreciated
• Experience in delivering complex projects with data driven solutions for supply chain and core business processes optimization is highly appreciated
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Agile/Scrum, PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma) are appreciated.
