AI in this role
Manage corporate finance integration and FP&A while leveraging AI tools for process automation and dashboard creation.
About the role
We’re seeking a Manager to join the Corporate Finance team at Chime! In this role, you’ll play a central part in one of the company’s most important priorities: preparing Chime’s finance organization to integrate a recent acquisition. You’ll serve as Corporate Finance’s lead on integration readiness, partnering cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, Data, and Systems teams to align processes, reporting, planning models, and forecasts ahead of close, then own pro forma views and combined company KPI tracking post-close. You’ll also be a hands-on partner across a lean Corporate Finance team, supporting public company workstreams and using AI tools to build automation and dashboards that make our work faster and more scalable.
We’re looking for a highly organized, analytical, and collaborative finance leader who can bring structure to ambiguity, drive cross-functional workstreams to completion, and translate complex financial detail into clear insights for senior leadership.
In this role, you can expect to
- Lead Corporate Finance’s workstream for the integration of a recent acquisition, building and tracking the Day 1 readiness plan (close calendar, chart of accounts, reporting cutover), milestones, and dependencies through close and into post-close
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, Data, and Systems teams to align on account mapping, reporting hierarchies, data flows, and planning models (Pigment) for the combined company
- Build pro forma and combined-company 3 statement financial views and combined KPI tracking, and incorporate the acquired business into the monthly forecast, annual operating plan, and long-range model
- Identify integration risks, gaps, and open decisions early; drive issues to resolution and provide clear, concise status updates to Finance leadership
- Central point of contact on finance-wide communications and updates related to integration
- Identify and track forecasted cost and organizational synergies that have been previously identified and sized
- Report out on measures of success related to integration progress and develop dashboards to track milestones
- Serve as a flexible partner across the Corporate Finance team, supporting ad hoc analyses and strategic projects
- Leverage AI tools to automate manual processes, build dashboards, and increase efficiency across Corporate Finance
To thrive in this role, you have
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate or strategic finance, investment banking, corporate development, or consulting; public company experience and/or M&A integration experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant field; MBA or CPA a plus
- Strong understanding of the three financial statements and public company reporting, including the quarterly earnings cycle
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with many stakeholders and firm deadlines
- Expertise in Excel / Google Sheets - you can build scalable, efficient, and intuitive models with ease; experience with Pigment, SQL, BI/dashboarding tools, or AI LLMs is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and the judgment to deliver accurate, executive-ready materials under tight timelines
- Superior communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of an organization, including senior leadership
- A team-oriented, builder mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity
