DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, LMS/Learning Ops & Analytics, located in Bogotá Distrito Capital, Distrito Capital de Bogotá.
Job Overview
The Manager, LMS/Learning Ops & Analytics is responsible for the effective operation, optimization, and analytics of learning platforms and learning operations that support DePuy Synthes’ global workforce. This role ensures learning systems run reliably, learning data is accurate and actionable, and leaders have the insights needed to make informed talent and capability decisions. The position plays a critical role in enabling scalable, data‑driven learning across a global MedTech organization and directly supports workforce readiness, compliance, and continuous development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring system stability, data accuracy, and a positive user experience.
- Lead learning operations and analytics, including reporting, dashboards, and insights that measure learning effectiveness, compliance, and engagement.
- Partner with HR, Learning & Development, Compliance, and IT teams to support global learning initiatives and system enhancements.
- Oversee learning data governance, including standards, processes, and controls to ensure high‑quality and auditable learning records.
- Support continuous improvement of learning processes, workflows, and tools through automation and simplification.
- Manage vendors and external partners supporting LMS functionality, reporting tools, or learning technologies.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members supporting learning operations and analytics activities.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise on learning systems, analytics, and reporting to stakeholders across the organization.
Where required to be managed locally:
- Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures.
- Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.
- Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Typically 6–8 years of relevant experience in learning operations, LMS administration, HR systems, analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing or administering an enterprise LMS and associated learning technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards, reports, and insights from learning or HR data.
- Experience leading projects, managing priorities, and collaborating in a global, matrixed environment.
- Proven people‑management or team‑leadership capabilities.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting compliance‑driven learning in a regulated industry (e.g., MedTech, Pharma).
- Familiarity with learning analytics frameworks and learning effectiveness measurement.
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Background working with global learning programs and multilingual user populations.
Other:
- Language: Fluent English required; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
- Travel: Minimal travel expected (generally 10%, primarily international).
- Certifications: Learning systems, analytics, or HR technology certifications preferred but not required.
