AI in this role
Coordinate marketing campaigns, assets, and localization for global confectionery brand Gumi Yum.
Position Overview
We’re growing Gumi Yum, our confectionery brand at ZURU Edge, and looking for a Marketing Coordinator to keep our marketing engine running across every market. You’ll keep briefs, assets, approvals and timelines moving, look after our retailer and ecommerce content, and support social across TikTok and YouTube Shorts. You’ll also own marketing end to end for our Tier 3 markets: Japan, South Africa, Russia, MENA, Italy, LATAM, France and SEA. You’re organised, proactive and calm under pressure, and you’re at your best when you’re juggling lots of markets and deadlines and nothing slips through the cracks.
About ZURU
ZURU is a reimagination company. We look for categories that have stood still, then we build next-generation products and brands that set the new standard. ZURU Toys is reimagining play. ZURU Edge is reinventing everyday consumer brands. Rhodes Pet Science is reimagining pet science. ZURU Tech is leading the next building revolution.
ZURU started in 2003 with two brothers from New Zealand, and we’re still founder-owned and operated today. Since then we’ve become the world’s second-biggest privately held toy company, and nearly half of all Gen Y and Gen Z households with kids in the US own a ZURU product. Today we’re 5,000 people in 34 offices, selling into more than 150 markets, backed by over 100 acres of fully automated manufacturing. And we’re only getting started.
Position Impact
This is a seat with real ownership. You’ll be the engine room of the Gumi Yum marketing team, and the main marketing contact for distributors and partners across eight Tier 3 markets. You’ll report to the Senior Marketing Executive and work alongside the Marketing Executive and Marketing Editor. You’ll partner closely with Commercial, Global Product, China DSP and our Brand Engagement team in Creator Studio. Over time, you’ll build the launch toolkits your markets rely on and lead market launches and seasonal moments end to end. You’ll become the person the team trusts to keep work moving on time.
How you’ll help us grow
Coordinate asset requests, approvals and timelines across Marketing, Creative, Product and Commercial
Run the team’s briefs, trackers and status updates so everyone knows what’s live, what’s next and what’s late
Keep launch timelines on track across multiple markets, from campaign roll-outs to new series transitions and seasonal moments
Own marketing for our Tier 3 markets: be the main contact for distributors and partners from Japan to LATAM
Build market-specific launch toolkits from global assets, adapted for local needs and regulations
Support go-to-market planning, sell-in, launch activation and post-launch review, then recommend practical ways to optimise
Keep ecommerce and retailer content sharp in every market: listings, product information and customer service updates
Support social and influencer activity with Brand Engagement and Creator Studio, keeping TikTok and YouTube Shorts regular and testing what performs
Track category, competitor and platform trends, bring learnings into NPD conversations and protect brand consistency everywhere
What Helps You Win Here
1–3 years in marketing, ideally in FMCG, confectionery, toys or consumer goods, plus a relevant degree in marketing, business or communications
Strong organisation: you love a good tracker and nothing slips through the cracks, even with lots of markets and deadlines on the go
Clear, confident communication: you keep internal teams and external partners in different time zones aligned, not just informed
Comfort with retailer portals, ecommerce content and basic reporting
A real interest in social, especially TikTok and YouTube Shorts
A proactive, curious mindset: you raise risks and ideas early, focus on the detail without losing the bigger picture, and you’re keen to grow your career at ZURU
Think you’ve got what it takes? Apply now and tell us your story.
Who thrives at ZURU
This isn’t a 9-to-5. We move fast, think big and set goals most companies would call impossible, then go after them. The people who thrive here are entrepreneurs at heart. They own their work, chase bold ideas and never stop raising the bar.

How we work
Big ideas happen when great people work side by side, so we’re office-first by design. Being together means faster collaboration, sharper decisions and stronger teams, and it’s where the real learning happens. Some flexibility may be available depending on the role, location and business needs, but most roles are office-based.
