Job Purpose: Plan and deliver marketing for exhibitions, conferences and special events. Define campaign objectives, channel mix and audience growth plans, manage allocated budgets, and work with the Marketing Coordinator to deliver multi-channel campaigns, marketing communications and promotional activity. Work closely with Marketing Managers, Exhibition Directors and Sales teams to grow visitor attendance and engagement, exhibitor participation and brand presence.
Key Accountabilities:
- Plan and deliver the end-to-end marketing strategy for assigned events and features, within the portfolio direction set by the Marketing Manager. Define campaign objectives, channel mix and timelines for assigned events. Plan and execute integrated campaigns across email, social, paid media, content and partnerships.
- Develop and deliver on-show activations for assigned events. Generate concepts, present them to stakeholders for approval, and build the marketing and participation plan to drive exhibitor and visitor involvement.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of marketing collateral including brochures, visitor tickets, advertisements, web banners, emails and other promotional materials.
- Manage and update event websites and digital platforms to ensure accurate, engaging and up-to-date information is available.
- Support public relations activities by coordinating with PR agencies and assisting with media engagement initiatives.
- Create, edit and proofread marketing content across English and Arabic materials to ensure quality, brand consistency and accuracy.
- Develop and deliver the audience growth plan for key visitor personas, covering data build, acquisition, segmentation and database management.
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance, taking ownership of KPI reporting, campaign analysis and post-event reporting. Using campaign performance to suggest improvements and optimizations to achieve KPIs
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, media partners, suppliers, associations and external stakeholders.
- Provide onsite marketing support during events, assisting with operational requirements and ensuring successful event delivery.
- Support special projects, research initiatives and marketing improvement activities as required by the business.
- Maintain accurate marketing records, files and administrative documentation to support effective team operations.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- University degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
- Understanding of marketing principles, campaign planning and digital marketing channels.
- Knowledge of content creation, audience development and event marketing practices.
- Understanding of exhibition or events industry is desirable.
- Arabic language skills are desirable but not mandatory.
Minimum Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in marketing, communications or a related field.
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Experience managing external stakeholders, suppliers or media partners is desirable.
- Experience within the exhibitions or events industry is advantageous.
