Seeking a Medical Affairs Partner to drive haemophilia strategies, clinical engagement, and medical education initiatives.
At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
The Position
Imagine working for an organisation that puts people at the heart of everything they do, where your contributions directly impact patient outcomes. As a Medical Affairs Partner focusing on Haemophilia—a dynamic hybrid role that explicitly combines the field-based engagement of a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with the strategic, internal remit of a Medical Advisor—you will leverage your deep medical and scientific expertise to shape and drive initiatives both locally and globally. For this specific position, deep and proven Medical Advisor capabilities are essential to drive our strategic direction and internal projects.
Why this role matters: At Roche, our number one priority is our patients, and we believe that every person plays a key role in achieving this mission. You will be a vital part of our Medical Affairs Chapter in the Roche UK affiliate. By bridging the gap between external clinical realities and internal strategic vision, your work will ensure that the right data, insights, and educational strategies are deployed to improve patient lives. This is your opportunity to make a tangible difference and be part of a company dedicated to transforming haemophilia care.
The Opportunity:
- Operating seamlessly across both MSL and Medical Advisor capacities—with a critical focus on MA-driven strategic initiatives—you engage and collaborate with the clinical community to deliver value-adding outcomes.
- You deploy broad and deep expertise in medical affairs, taking the lead on data & insight generation, scientific partnerships, medical education, and overarching medical strategy.
- You build strong, lasting relationships with healthcare experts and influencers while contributing to high-impact projects across local and global teams.
- You translate complex scientific data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and shape our medical priorities.
- You collaborate across boundaries to remove silos, taking pride in sharing your knowledge to help others grow.
Who you are:
- You hold a scientific university degree and bring strong relevant experience in Medical Affairs (with NHS/clinical experience where applicable).
- You have a proven track record in a combined or overlapping medical affairs role, and bring deep, demonstrable experience as a Medical Advisor (this is essential for the strategic demands of this role) alongside your MSL capabilities.
- You are a passionate medical affairs expert with a clear vision for improving patient outcomes and a strong track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- You possess excellent critical appraisal and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific information for external audiences.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and have clear experience in leading and mentoring your peers.
Preferred:
- Experience in Haemophilia is preferred.
If you are ready to use your deep medical advising expertise and field engagement skills to make a real difference for patients, apply now and help us deliver better outcomes.
