AI in this role
Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. Our systems run in production at global scale and are used to build millions of real applications.
Since our public launch, we've crossed $100M in ARR and grown to over 10M users across 190+ countries, who have built 12M+ applications on Emergent. We're backed by Creaegis, Claypond, Sentinel Global, Khosla Ventures, SoftBank, Google, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together, and Y Combinator.
We're solving the hard part of AI-driven software creation: correctness, reliability, security, and scale in real production systems. The team is built by repeat founders, Olympiad medalists, IIT & IIM alumni, and leaders from Google, Amazon, and Dropbox.
We're hiring builders who want ownership, speed, and impact at global scale.

- Make complex AI workflows easy to follow through animation, explainers, and visual storytelling
- Create launch videos, product demos, social content, and ads that reach millions of users
- Design product micro-interactions, transitions, and loading states that make the platform feel fast and alive
- Work closely with design, product, engineering, and growth to ship high-quality work quickly
- Help build Emergent's motion language and keep it consistent as the brand grows
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio of shipped work
- Strong command of After Effects, plus tools like Rive, Lottie, Figma, Cinema 4D, or Blender
- Solid grounding in animation principles, timing, typography, and visual design
- Ability to take abstract or technical ideas and turn them into clear, engaging visuals
- Comfort working at startup speed, juggling multiple projects without dropping quality
- Clear communication and good creative judgment
- High ownership mindset: you care deeply about what ships
Nice to Have:
- Experience with UI animation for web or mobile products, and handing it off to engineers
- Some hands-on experience with code (CSS/JS animation, Framer, Three.js), or a real interest in experimenting with it
- Experience creating content for AI, developer, or tech products
- Familiarity with 3D, generative, or AI-assisted creative tools
- Video editing and sound design skills
