This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operation Technology Project Manager to join our Iraq Business Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Lead OT modernization, obsolescence, and digital transformation projects across gas facilities.
  • Perform Project Engineer and Project Manager functions, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and project delivery.
  • Develop and implement lifecycle, migration, technology refresh, and obsolescence mitigation strategies for DCS, SIS, PLC, SCADA, telecommunications, and industrial network systems.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost control, contracts, and change management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, operations teams, EPC contractors, OEMs, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and provide technical direction during design, implementation, commissioning, start-up, and operational handover.
  • Drive cybersecurity and compliance initiatives aligned with IEC 62443, company standards, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and mentor local national personnel through training, knowledge transfer, competency development, and succession planning programs.
  • Support localization objectives and the sustainable development of in-country OT and engineering capabilities.

Expected:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation & Control, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • Proven experience delivering OT, automation, control systems, digital transformation, and obsolescence management projects in EPC, EPCM, PMC, or Owner Operator environments.
  • Strong experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of DCS, SIS, PLC, SCADA, industrial networks, telecommunications, virtualization, and OT cybersecurity.
  • Working knowledge of IEC 62443, IEC 61511, ISA-95, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing talent and supporting nationalization programs.
  • Proven track record delivering complex multidisciplinary projects while maintaining operational continuity, cybersecurity compliance, cost performance, and asset reliability.
