Amazon Global Selling (AGS) helps selling partners reach customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China recruits local businesses to sell on Amazon's worldwide marketplaces and supports their growth and success. Our vision is to be the first choice for Chinese businesses going global. The AGS PMO team partners with Amazon's global teams to identify new opportunities and drive initiatives from design through launch and post-launch management.

We are seeking a data-driven Principal Product Manager in Shanghai to own the Brand Owner (BO) experience for China-based sellers, ensuring brands can grow and stay protected across Amazon's worldwide marketplaces, with a focus on BO sustainability and seller experience in high-stakes brand protection scenarios. The role works with stakeholder teams worldwide across functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and brings strong product/program management and communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive measurable impact on Brand Owner (BO) experience for China-based sellers across Amazon's worldwide marketplaces.

- Define seller experience standards for critical BO lifecycle use cases, such as brand merge and consolidation, brand ownership transfer, and cross-marketplace brand ownership.
- Develop mechanisms that surface China-based BO interdependencies and defects; drive product strategy and roadmap with worldwide partner teams, and own escalation paths through root-cause closure.
- Establish strong relationships with China and worldwide stakeholders to partner on shared goals and improvement roadmaps that minimize business disruption for sellers and Amazon.

Basic qualifications

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, and/or technology experience
- Experience influencing senior leadership and driving alignment across worldwide teams in ambiguous, high-consequence environments

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in brand protection, brand registry, e-commerce marketplace trust and safety, risk management, cross-border compliance, policy, or intellectual property programs
- Strong written communication skills, including delivering narrative documents for senior audiences
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, written and verbal
- Master's degree or MBA
