A day in the life
As a Product Designer on this team, you'll spend your time on the parts of design that everyone else builds on. One day you might draw a set of new icons and refine them until they sit naturally alongside hundreds of existing ones. Another, you might add a variant to a component, update its specification, and pair with an engineer to get it ready for development. You'll review a feature designer's file to see where the system helps them and where it gets in their way, and turn what you learn into improvements. You'll work with front-end engineers who build our libraries into code across multiple platforms, so the decisions you make in Figma reach customers. To be successful you must be detail-oriented, systems-minded, and collaborative, with strong craft in both components and iconography and an ability to communicate your ideas clearly. Being a big music fan is a plus.
