Job Description
Visa is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join the CEMEA Product Marketing team, supporting the Visa Consumer App and Benefits portfolios. This role sits at the center of two interlocking growth stories: marketing the benefits that make Visa cards worth holding, and growing Visa’s consumer apps user base from download to daily habit. We're looking for someone who can go deep enough into the product to understand why it matters and where it fits competitively, while translating that understanding into sharp, consumer-facing narratives, issuer-facing toolkits, and campaign strategy that drives measurable growth (downloads, MAU, redemption, etc).
The right candidate is equally comfortable running a two-way working model with Product, feeding market-level consumer insight into benefit prioritization, as they are building a DTC app-acquisition campaign. This role combines product and consumer-app growth instincts with strong storytelling and campaign execution, and requires comfort working across product managers, regional marketing teams, issuers, and creative/media partners in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the marketing plan for Visa’s consumer apps growth, driving app downloads and MAU through DTC and issuer-led (B2B2C) campaigns.
- Prioritize all CEMEA benefits across five pillars (Travel, Dining, Wellness, Entertainment, Sports) and translate sourced benefits into GTM plans that maximize cardholder awareness and redemption.
- Build and maintain the editorial strategy and guidelines for Visa’s consumer apps across CEMEA markets, and support regional and market-specific launch plans for any upcoming app launches
- Translate consumer behavior data into sharper campaign and content decisions across the funnel, working closely with Media and Creative teams to maximize app performance.
- Partner with regional marketing, issuer teams, and creative/media agencies to localize global toolkits, campaign platforms, and content into market-relevant activation.
- Support product and campaign launches through messaging development, sales/issuer enablement content, and go-to-market sequencing.
- Leverage AI tools and modern workflows to accelerate research, analysis and reporting, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and market relevance.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
- Experience in product marketing, growth marketing, consumer app marketing, loyalty/benefits marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in payments, financial services, fintech, digital wallets, loyalty & rewards, or other consumer-facing B2C/B2B2C environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate product capabilities and consumer insight into clear, compelling, growth-oriented campaigns and content.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with experience creating materials for consumer, issuer/partner, and internal executive audiences.
- Experience collaborating across product, regional marketing, partner/issuer, and creative/media teams in a matrixed organization.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple portfolios and market priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive initiatives forward without direct authority.
- Fluency with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Strong knowledge of the CEMEA payments ecosystem, including issuers, benefits/loyalty programs, and emerging-market consumer app growth (Africa, Middle East, or comparable markets).
- Experience running consumer app growth funnels (acquisition, activation, retention) with ownership of KPIs such as downloads, MAU, and active-rate conversion.
- Experience with benefits marketing, loyalty programs, or working in a two-way operating model with Product to prioritize customer-facing offerings.
- Experience developing DTC and B2B2C toolkits, issuer/partner enablement content, launch materials, or editorial content strategies.
- Experience working closely with product managers, regional marketing teams, and creative/media agencies to localize global platforms for market relevance.
- Ability to interpret consumer and app performance data to inform campaign and content decisions.
- Strong business judgment and ability to balance brand consistency, market relevance, and commercial/growth outcomes.
