The Opportunity

 

Permanent full-time opportunity for a driven Product Specialist to be part of a high performing Wound Closure sales team in Melbourne. Partnering with healthcare professionals, you’ll drive the adoption of innovative wound closure solutions, deliver impactful clinical education, and build trusted customer relationships that improve patient outcomes while growing your territory.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Driving sales growth and market share across a designated Melbourne Metro territory by developing strategic account plans and identifying new business opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with surgeons, clinicians, procurement teams, and hospital stakeholders to support product adoption and long-term partnerships
  • Delivering product demonstrations, clinical support, and in-service training programs that enhance customer outcomes and confidence in J&J’s Wound Closure solutions
  • Providing exceptional customer service through proactive account management, tender support, and resolution of customer needs and challenges
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added services, including inventory management, training initiatives, and key account development

 

About You

 

  • Degree qualified with proven hospital sales and territory management experience within medical devices or pharma and the ability to drive product adoption and commercial growth
  • Passion for building strong effective relationships, and tenacity and enthusiasm with a true desire to understand and support customers
  • Excellent communication, presentation and clinical education skills, with confidence delivering product training and in-service programs
  • Ability to understand and communicate scientific, clinical and medical technology concepts effectively, with a strong focus on delivering solutions
  • Strong collaborative nature to work as a team, self-starter with the ability to function independently as a field-based representative
