We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our rapidly growing Pharmacy team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving multiple new business initiatives like scaling up specialist medicines, working on prescription partner management and driving initiatives that enhance customer experience across Amazon's pharmacy business.
Key job responsibilities
Project Management
Work on critical business projects including specialist medicines, prescription management, and more to drive business growth
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
Identify and resolve bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks proactively
Brand Management
Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive business metrics that directly impact seller and customer experience
Build and manage relationships with top pharmaceutical brands to improve selection, availability, and compliance
Drive brand registry adoption and work towards reducing customer contact rate (CCR) defects
Analyze brand performance data and develop strategies to improve key business metrics
Program Management
Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation
Conduct regular business reviews and prepare executive-level presentations
Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Drive data-driven decision making through analytics and reporting
Define and track program KPIs, OKRs, and success metrics
Develop scalable mechanisms and SOPs to ensure operational excellence
Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Product, Tech, Operations and Category teams
Collaborate with external partners and vendors (e.g., pharmacy chains, prescription partners, brand principals)
Communicate project status and escalations to senior leadership
Influence without authority across teams to drive alignment and execution
About the team
Amazon Pharmacy is revolutionizing how customers access healthcare products and medications. We're building innovative solutions to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for customers across India.
Basic qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
