Role OverviewThe AFLS Technical Architect (Delivery SME) brings deep expertise in enterprise delivery execution, integration architecture, and technical program health. While the Product SME focuses on what the product can do, the Delivery SME focuses on how the implementation is being executed — identifying delivery process failures, integration issues, data migration risks, and execution gaps that are blocking or threatening go-live. This architect is the technical authority on implementation quality and delivery rigor within the POD.
Delivery Assessment & Diagnostics
- Assess the current state of delivery execution across all technical workstreams — integration, data migration, configuration, and testing
- Identify delivery process failures (e.g., scope creep, insufficient testing, poor sprint execution) contributing to the account's risk score
- Evaluate partner and SI delivery capability gaps; provide targeted recommendations for delivery process improvement
- Surface delivery execution blockers and provide technical status updates during daily Triage Standup meetings
Hands-On Technical Remediation
- Conduct root cause analysis on delivery execution failures; distinguish between product issues (escalate to Product SME) and delivery process issues
- Execute data migration activities using the AFLS Transformation Framework; validate data migration quality and completeness
- Perform hands-on technical stabilization of integration and data workstreams
- Conduct code reviews with a focus on implementation quality, security, and platform best practices
- Coordinate with the SI partner on delivery process improvements; provide hands-on coaching on sprint execution, release management, and quality gates
Go-Live Validation & Handoff
- Validate go-live readiness across all technical workstreams (integration, data migration, configuration, UAT)
- Resolve critical technical defects blocking go-live; triage and prioritize issue resolution in partnership with the Product SME
- Ensure the delivery team and BAU team are fully briefed and capable of ongoing ownership before POD exit
- Document delivery resolutions, lessons learned, and process recommendations for future engagements
Bench Activities
- Support triage and scoping for incoming high-risk accounts, providing delivery complexity assessments to inform POD sizing
- Contribute to AI-based delivery accelerators, delivery playbooks, integration architecture blueprints, and data migration guidance for the AFLS accelerator library
- Document lessons learned from prior engagements for the AFLS product feedback register (integration patterns, migration issues)
- Assist the Ecosystem Lead in tracking partner-attributed delivery failures — SI execution gaps, compliance violations, and delivery standard deviations
- Participate in quarterly health assessment interviews to diagnose technical execution challenges
Qualifications:
Required
- 10+ years in enterprise delivery execution, integration architecture, or data migration on large-scale Salesforce implementations
- Hands-on experience with integration design (REST/SOAP, middleware) and data migration frameworks
- Strong root-cause analysis skills distinguishing delivery-process failures from product issues
- Salesforce Certified Administrator required
Preferred
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Application Architect credential
- Experience coaching SI partners on sprint execution, release management, and quality gates
- Familiarity with AFLS Transformation Framework or equivalent data migration tooling

Questions you could be asked
- How do you decide when an AI agent can act on its own versus asking for approval first?
- Tell me about a project where technical architecture was part of your work. What did you do?
- Tell me about a project where integration architecture was part of your work. What did you do?
- Tell me about a project where data migration was part of your work. What did you do?

Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: AI agents, Technical Architecture, Integration Architecture, Data Migration, and Code Review. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Show where AI is part of your daily process, not a one-off project. This role expects it to be a running habit.
