Accountabilities

- Resource Management: Responsible for allocating resources across multiple projects, balancing priorities, and ensuring that resources are used efficiently across the program.
- Financial Management: Manages the overall program budget, tracking the financial health of multiple projects and ensuring that the program as a whole delivers value.
- Metrics: Measures success based on the cumulative benefits delivered by all the projects within the program. They look at business outcomes, value creation, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Change Management: Deals with change at a macro level, ensuring that changes across projects are managed cohesively and don’t negatively impact the overall program.

Join us as a Resilience Programme Manager at Barclays, where you will lead change programmes that strengthen the resilience of the bank. You will deliver bank wide resilience strategies & capabilities impacting technology, third parties, people and premises.
You will provide senior programme leadership and resilience expertise, translate strategic priorities into clear delivery plans, drive automation and continuous improvement, and bring together Technology, Operations, Property, Workplace, Security, and business teams to deliver sustainable resilience outcomes.
To be successful as a Resilience Programme Manager, you must have the following essential skills:
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional change or transformation programmes, with the ability to set direction, manage dependencies and deliver sustainable outcomes across a large organisation.
- Strong Resilience understanding across technology, third parties, people and premises, including the identification of vulnerabilities, critical dependencies and practical mitigation strategies.
- Excellent governance, analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to use multi-source data, risk assessments, scorecards and executive reporting to support risk-based decisions and influence senior stakeholders.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience delivering large-scale remediation, stability improvement or continuous improvement programmes.
- Experience improving processes, automating controls and measuring benefits
You may be assessed on key skills relevant to success in the role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role can be performed from Glasgow or Knutsford, with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
