Same Day Supply Chain Analyst, EU FC Supply Chain Operations

The Same Day S&OP team is the backbone of faster, smarter delivery solutions that are reshaping the customer experience across Europe. We plan and execute network strategies for rapidly scaling, innovative fulfillment programs, collaborating cross-functionally with Fulfillment Centers, Delivery Stations, Speed, and Finance teams to optimize speed, cost, and efficiency.

We are looking for an analytical and driven Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end planning and execution for the Same Day network across Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFCs). You will dive deep into data to identify opportunities, solve complex supply chain problems, and drive improvements that directly impact delivery speed and customer satisfaction.

This is a role that blends short-term operational execution with long-term strategic planning. You will work with incomplete data, make high-judgment decisions, and collaborate across multiple teams to shape the future of Same Day delivery in Europe.

Key job responsibilities

1- Own the intra-week planning and execution of the Same Day network, including demand forecasting and inbound planning across MFCs.
2- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities; provide deep dives and models to guide network execution and strategy.
3- Develop and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to support data-driven decision-making.
4- Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements to eliminate defects and enhance the end-to-end customer experience
5- Drive strategic projects that improve cost efficiency, delivery speed, and network scalability
6- Partner cross-functionally with Delivery Stations, Fulfillment Centers, Speed, and Finance teams to align on network plans and drive operational excellence.
7- Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing long-term network strategy

The CF team are the first people in the chain that helps customers get products at the speed we’re known for. We’re based in Fulfilment Centres, which are at the heart of Amazon’s fast-paced Operations network. Our centres are sometimes referred to as the ‘First Mile’ because it’s where most Amazon packages start their journey. We help to manage dynamic inventory and facilitate speedy deliveries round the clock.

Basic qualifications

- Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process
- Experience in supply chain such as contracting, demand management and/or planning and procurement, and supply chain operations
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Experience in SQL Server/MySQL, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications

- Master's degree or above in engineering, management, or technology, or Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, management, or technology
- Experience with one or more analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
