You'll also support and mentor junior team members while contributing to a range of strategic and operational projects across the business.
Key accountabilities include:
- Providing hydrogeological expertise to support groundwater operations, water quality, source performance, asset improvements and capital projects, including undertaking investigations and testing where required.
- Assessing groundwater quality and abstraction risks, analysing long-term trends, and developing solutions that support sustainable water resources, regulatory compliance and catchment management objectives.
- Working closely with operational teams, regulators and other stakeholders to ensure groundwater resources are effectively managed and protected, while providing specialist support during drought and peak demand periods.
- Delivering training on groundwater and assets to other personnel in the business.
- Maintaining and enhancing groundwater and asset data, delivering catchment risk assessments, and identifying process improvements that drive business performance and support future planning.
