Senior Manager / Associate Director-Integrated Market Access Strategic Planning

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Enterprise-Level Market Access Strategy and Strategic Planning

Serve as the strategic planning hub for the Market Access organization, driving integrated strategic planning by consolidating central and regional market access priorities, pricing and reimbursement developments, healthcare policy evolution, and business objectives into a unified strategic framework. Lead long-term planning, assess emerging opportunities and risks, and provide forward-looking insights and actionable recommendations to support leadership decision-making, organizational alignment, resource prioritization, and sustainable business growth.

2. Drive Market Access Excellence, Intelligence, and Capability Development

• Serve as the Market Access Center of Excellence by establishing and leading the organization's knowledge management, strategic intelligence, and policy monitoring platforms, acting as the central repository and strategic information hub for the function.
• Drive access excellence through the development of best-practice frameworks, competitive intelligence, policy insights, knowledge-sharing mechanisms, and capability-building initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, execution consistency, innovation, and overall operational excellence across the Market Access organization.

3. Lead Portfolio Governance, Strategic Partnerships and Project Management Excellence

• Establish and lead portfolio governance and project management frameworks for the Market Access organization, ensuring strategic priorities, resource allocation, and cross-functional initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
• Drive project prioritization, resource planning, and governance processes to enhance execution excellence and organizational effectiveness.
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to leverage strategic insights, strengthen organizational capabilities, and enable the successful delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Master’s degree or above, preferably in health policy, public health, health economics, social security, economics, pharmacy or medicine.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, with any of the following backgrounds:
  • Pharmaceutical MNC (market access, pricing, strategy, HEOR roles); or
  • Universities, research institutes or government think tanks ; or
  • Top-tier consulting firm.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional strategic projects.
• Proven track record of access strategies is highly preferred.

• Strong bilingual (Chinese and English) working capability.
