Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, own, and continuously improve MES infrastructure platforms, environments, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation for Syncade, OpCenter, Mendix, and AspenTech MES using version-controlled Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks.
  • Own the design of MES platform, environment, and pipeline architectures within approved enterprise standards, documenting technical decisions, reusable patterns, and implementation approaches.
  • Develop and maintain automated build, test, deployment, monitoring, backup, recovery, and configuration management processes to improve platform reliability, scalability, and consistency.
  • Provide MES developers and site teams with standardized environments, self-service capabilities, automation tools, and engineering frameworks that improve delivery efficiency and consistency.

  • Lead validation activities for infrastructure and platform changes, including risk assessments, testing, documentation, compliance evidence, and release readiness.
  • Apply AI-assisted engineering practices to improve productivity and solution quality, ensuring all AI-generated outputs are reviewed, validated, and approved before implementation.
  • Ensure environments, deployments, and platform changes comply with cybersecurity, data integrity, validation, change control, and regulatory requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Monitor platform availability, performance, security, and operational health; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with MES developers, site teams, Quality, Infrastructure, OT, Cybersecurity, Architecture, and vendor teams to deliver secure, reliable, and supportable platform services.
  • Establish and maintain DevSecOps, configuration management, release management, deployment standards, reusable infrastructure patterns, automation frameworks, technical standards, and operational controls to enable secure, consistent, and scalable MES platform delivery across sites.
  • Support incident management, disaster recovery, business continuity, platform upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Validate all AI-generated configurations, scripts, documentation, and recommendations for accuracy, security, reliability, data integrity, and compliance before use, deployment, or release. Ensure infrastructure changes meet operational, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis or technology delivery, including translating business needs into solutions that address defined outcomes.

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Infrastructure, CI/CD, Automation, Cybersecurity, and Compliance. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
  • Put the AI tool in a bullet point about what you did, not just in a skills list. This role treats it as a required part of the job.
