About the Role

You’ll be the trusted technical advisor for customers across the full lifecycle: shaping solutions and winning deals in presales, then ensuring successful delivery, adoption, and expansion post-sales. You’ll combine deep platform and technology expertise (architecture, integration, data, AI) with strong storytelling and customer engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

Presales

• Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, uncover business and technical requirements, and build winning strategies.
• Deliver tailored demos, proofs of concept, and technical workshops that tie platform capabilities to business outcomes.
• Present to technical and C-level audiences, including architecture and security reviews.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and build solution designs, business cases, and ROI narratives.
• Collaborate with product, specialist, and partner teams to scope and position the right solution.

Post-sales

• Hand over solution designs and context to delivery, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to ensure continuity.
• Act as a technical escalation point and advisor during implementation, validating architecture and best practices.
• Support adoption, health checks, and value realization workshops with customers.
• Identify expansion and renewal opportunities and partner with account teams to pursue them.
• Capture customer feedback and feed it to product and engineering.

Team and Technology Leadership

• Mentor SEs and share reusable assets: demos, reference architectures, and playbooks.
• Stay current on platform, integration, API, data, security, and AI/agent technologies.
• Contribute to communities of practice and enablement.

Qualifications

Required

• 6+ years in solution engineering, technical consulting, architecture, or senior software engineering, with customer-facing experience.
• Strong grasp of cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and data architecture.
• Hands-on ability in at least one language (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.) and with CI/CD or DevOps concepts.
• Proven ability to run demos and POCs and to explain complex technology simply.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders and influencing without authority.
• Strong collaboration across sales, delivery, and customer success.

Preferred

• Experience with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, MuleSoft, Data Cloud, Agentforce, or similar).
• Familiarity with AI/LLM and agentic technologies.
• Knowledge of security, identity, and compliance frameworks.
• Industry or platform certifications (e.g., Salesforce Architect, cloud certifications).
• Experience with value selling and business case development.
