Amazon's Intelligent Cloud Hosting (ICON) team is seeking a Senior Product Manager (Technical) to envision, design, and deliver our next-generation infrastructure management services. These services power the infrastructure behind Amazon's global websites — including all international marketplaces and partner portals — as well as consumer experiences such as Kindle, Alexa, Amazon Video, Mobile Applications, and Physical Stores.

In this role, you will shape your team's technical and business strategy through insightful contributions to priorities, roadmap, and approach. You will collaborate closely with senior technical stakeholders and customers at both the leadership and operational levels to develop products that meet the evolving needs of Amazon's e-Commerce platform — driving greater reliability, strengthening security, reducing costs, and increasing availability across Amazon's Stores infrastructure.

Key job responsibilities
• Envision and draft the business requirements for a new set of services that will help our globally distributed support team to manage our vast Stores hosting infrastructure at scale.
• Ensure that the engineers and technical leaders are aligning the product design to maximize customer value throughout the SDLC through creative tradeoffs.
• Be a vocal advocate for optimal resource allocation to ensure maximum progress within the constraints of the business.
• Provide insights and direction to peers and leadership managing dependent products and adjacent programs to ensure quick and effective progress.
• Be a bar raising writer to highlight blockers, wins and misses, and craft product launch announcements and other documentation, when necessary.
• Connect with customers of all shapes and sizes, and understand their pain points to help steer the product in the right direction that meets their needs.
