Role and Responsibilities
Samsung Electronics is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead strategic growth of the Monitor category across all retail channels. This role owns category-level revenue planning, competitive strategy, and go-to-market execution — sitting at the intersection of supply chain management, sales, integrated marketing, and product strategy to ensure the right products are available, priced, and positioned to win.
You will work cross-functionally with SCM, Sales, HQ, and channel partners to drive sell-in and sell-through performance against revenue, margin, profit, and market share targets, while shaping the broader competitive and pricing strategy for the category.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of 3, setting priorities, providing coaching, and ensuring strong execution across category planning and channel initiatives.
- Own overall revenue strategy and planning for the Monitor category across key retail channels, with strong focus on purchase planning, sales forecasting, and inventory management in partnership with Sales and SCM.
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for product launches and category lifecycle management, including channel rollout plans and launch readiness across retail and e-commerce accounts.
- Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify market trends, pricing strategies, and product positioning; translate findings into actionable pricing and promotion strategies that balance competitiveness, margin health, and sell-through objectives.
- Define and manage channel strategy — including account-specific programs, co-op/MDF allocation, and partner engagement.
- Monitor and report on key business metrics (revenue, market share, sales deductions, channel inventory, aging, profit, etc.) through regular reporting cadences, lead execution, and flag risks early to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create marketing materials, sales support tools, and training resources that support channel execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key national and regional retail accounts to drive sell-in, sell-through, and long-term partnership health.
- Partner with global HQ to provide market intelligence and ground-level channel insights that inform product lineup and portfolio strategy decisions.
- Create high-quality reporting and presentations for both executive leadership reviews and customer-facing business meetings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for executive leadership and external customers.
