AI in this role
About the role
Developers no longer build alone. They build alongside AI coding agents. Enterprises across Asia-Pacific want to make that shift without losing control of their code, data and infrastructure, and Coder gives them a secure, governed place to do it. We need someone to tell that story in the region: in rooms, on stages and across the table from the technical leaders at the accounts that matter. As Senior Regional Marketing Manager, APAC, you'll be the face of Coder marketing here, running the events, field, ABM and partner programs that turn that story into pipeline.
You will be Coder’s first feet on the ground in APAC, so this role is both strategic, tactical and hands-on. You'll set the regional plan and run it yourself, from target accounts and events down to the swag. You will work closely with regional sales, partners, and the global marketing team, and have real say in where Coder invests in APAC, reporting to the Director of International Marketing.
What you’ll do here
Own the APAC marketing plan end to end, from planning through execution and reporting, aligned to global strategy and regional sales priorities and agreed with the Director of International Marketing.
Run in-person events that people actually remember, from platform engineering roundtables and developer meetups to executive dinners and conference presence across the region, with the occasional webinar where it makes sense.
Lead ABM programs for high-priority APAC accounts, partnering closely with sales to turn target account lists into real conversations and pipeline.
Plan and execute field marketing across the region, including roadshows, customer and prospect programs, and sales-aligned campaigns with clear handoffs and timely follow-through.
Build and run partner marketing with strategic alliances, resellers, and channel partners, including co-branded campaigns and joint events.
Partner with global marketing teams to localize campaign content and messaging for APAC markets and buying cultures.
Recommend and manage how the APAC budget is spent across events, vendors, agencies, and sponsorships.
Measure regional performance across attendance, engagement, influenced pipeline, and sourced pipeline, and use it to decide what to do more or less of.
Keep projects organized, timelines moving, and chaos to a minimum across multiple markets and time zones.
What we’re looking for
Must be located in Singapore.
10+ years of regional or field marketing experience, preferably in B2B technology or developer-focused companies.
Experience launching or growing a company’s marketing presence in APAC from a small base, owning the region as the primary or only marketer across in-person events, field, ABM, and partner marketing.
Hands-on experience executing regional programs, including events, partner campaigns, and sales-aligned marketing motions.
Experience running account-based marketing programs, including target account planning, personalized campaign touchpoints, and sales coordination.
Experience building co-marketing programs with alliances, resellers, or channel partners.
Experience managing a regional budget and working with agencies, event vendors, and sponsorships.
Experience partnering closely with sales leadership to support pipeline goals and regional priorities.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, vendors, details, and cross-functional inputs across time zones.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to keep stakeholders informed and aligned, including asynchronously.
Comfort managing many programs at once while staying organized, responsive, and detail-oriented.
Ability to travel 20% within the region.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or similar systems.
Bonus tacos if you have
Experience marketing to developers, platform engineering teams, DevOps teams, or technical buyers.
Experience with enterprise SaaS, cloud infrastructure, open-source, or developer tools.
Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, or ABM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense or HockeyStack.
Existing relationships with APAC cloud, SI, and channel partners, or with regional developer communities and event organizers.
Experience measuring field marketing performance across attendance, engagement, influenced pipeline, and sourced pipeline.
Experience supporting a company with an open source offering.
Fluency in one or more APAC languages in addition to English.
Our tech stack
You do not need to know every tool on day one, but familiarity with common go-to-market systems will help you ramp quickly. This role may work across tools such as Asana, Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, ABM platforms, event platforms, and shared content systems.

Our use of AI in hiring
We use AI tools to help manage our recruitment process efficiently and fairly. Specifically:
Ashby and Brainerr help us review inbound applications by surfacing candidates who best match the role requirements we've defined. This tool does not make hiring decisions; it helps our team prioritize which applications to review first.
Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.
All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. Your data is not used to train AI models.
In accordance with New York City Local Law 144, an independent bias audit has been conducted on "Automated Employment Decision Tools"; results are available for Ashby.
